As a Production Staff member at a Chocolate Manufacturing company based in Mapusa, Goa, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of chocolate production. Your responsibilities will include assisting in various production processes such as tempering, moulding, enrobing, coating, and packaging of chocolates. Operating and cleaning chocolate-making machinery, ensuring adherence to hygiene and food safety standards set by FSSAI, following SOPs for product consistency and quality are key aspects of your role. Additionally, you will be responsible for labeling and sorting finished goods and raw material stock, coordinating with supervisors for production targets, and supporting quality control and documentation efforts. To excel in this role, you should have a basic understanding of food hygiene and safety, the ability to operate or learn chocolate production processes, physical fitness to work long hours in variable temperatures, attention to detail, responsibility, and discipline. Being a team player with good communication skills and a willingness to work overtime during festivals or large orders will be beneficial. While prior experience in a food manufacturing unit or hotel bakery/pastry section is a plus, freshers who are trainable are also encouraged to apply. A graduate qualification or non-graduates with basic mathematics knowledge and a good analytical mind are eligible for this position.
