The Assistant Manager Kitchen Stewarding at Courtyard Nashik is responsible for managing the daily kitchen utility operations and staff. This includes overseeing dish room operations, night cleaning, back dock cleaning and maintenance, banquet plating, and food running. In this role, you will supervise kitchen employees who are not actively engaged in cooking, such as dishwashers and kitchen helpers. Your primary goal will be to continuously enhance guest and employee satisfaction while staying within the operating budget. To qualify for this position, you should have a high school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of experience in procurement, food and beverage, culinary, or a related professional area. Alternatively, a 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related major along with 2 years of relevant experience will be considered. Your core work activities will include ordering and managing necessary supplies, scheduling events and activities, monitoring inventory levels, conducting inventories, controlling food and equipment inventories, inspecting work areas for efficiency and standards compliance, enforcing cleaning routines, ensuring equipment is in working order, and maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations. As the Assistant Manager Kitchen Stewarding, you will also lead the kitchen team by utilizing interpersonal and communication skills to influence and encourage others. You will supervise and manage employees, understand their positions to cover duties in their absence, provide leadership to prioritize departmental goals, maintain productivity levels, and celebrate team successes. Additionally, you will ensure exceptional customer service, manage human resource activities, and participate in the management of controllable expenses.
