Food Quality Control

The Junior Executive Quality Control (QC) role involves supporting the quality assurance team in monitoring food safety, hygiene, and production quality at kitchens. Your responsibilities will include conducting quality checks, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, and assisting in documentation and training initiatives. You will be responsible for quality control and inspection by conducting raw material quality checks, monitoring food preparation processes, and performing final product quality checks before food dispatch. Additionally, you will ensure kitchen staff follow personal hygiene and food handling guidelines, conduct sanitation checks, and monitor pest control and water quality to maintain safety standards. In terms of documentation and compliance, you will assist in maintaining QC checklists, food safety records, and daily reports, while supporting compliance with FSSAI, HACCP, and GMP standards. You will also help in preparing for internal and external audits. Furthermore, you will participate in food safety and hygiene training programs for kitchen staff and educate team members on best practices for quality control. Your role will involve reporting quality issues and deviations to the QC Executive/Manager, as well as assisting in implementing corrective actions and improving quality processes. The ideal candidate should have a Diploma/B.Sc. in Food Technology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related field, along with at least 1 year of experience in food quality control, preferably in large-scale kitchens or food production. Key Skills required for this role include basic knowledge of food safety regulations, attention to detail for quality checks and documentation, as well as good communication and teamwork skills.
