Should possess a sound understanding of packaging material measurement units. Artwork & Design Understanding: Good knowledge of packaging artwork development, including design, mock-ups, and drawing processes. Should understand the approval process involving internal and external stakeholders. Printing Techniques Expertise: Should be familiar with various printing methods such as offset, digital, flexography, and screen printing. A good grasp of the digital aspects of printing, color theory, color schemes, and color matching is required. Material Familiarity: Knowledge of various printing and packaging materials such as paper, foils, poly-laminated films, HDPE bottles, closures, containers, inks, substrates, and fluting types in corrugated boxes. Should understand their behavior during the printing process. Market Dynamics & Procurement Economics: Understanding of market trends, supplier behavior, and pricing dynamics to support cost-effective procurement.
