We are seeking a visionary and experienced Systems Architect to lead the spacecraft design team at Azista. The role demands a deep understanding of end-to-end spacecraft system architecture and offers a unique opportunity to shape technical strategies from concept to in-orbit operations. Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership Define and steer the overall spacecraft system architecture and technical roadmap. Support Aircraft and System Safety Analysis (ASA, SSA), Fault Hazard Assessment, & Design Assurance analysis of propulsion systems and installation, fuel systems, APU systems and installations, and engine controls and provide feedback to the program. Creates Fault Tree Analysis, Failure Mode Effects Cause Analysis, Safety Assessment Reports, in accordance with ARP 4761/ MIL STD 882 and ARP 4754A. Support in performing aircraft-level Failure Mode, Effects & Criticality Analysis (FMECA). Leads Planning, defining, and verifying System Safety requirements to ensure design integrity and safety for certification of aircraft systems/subsystems for full lifecycle. Leads in identification and analysis of potential hazards from aircraft and system concept definition through development, testing, production, and sustainment. Performs aircraft and system functional hazard analysis, system safety analysis, and fault tree analysis and provide recommendations to improve system safety. Support flow down of system safety requirements to design and development of hardware and software based on the development assurance level (DAL). Collaborate with different stakeholders in the relevant areas in order to derive the inputs for the safety engineering case and decision making Contribute in System Safety engineering processes, procedures, and instructions to ensure system safety in all facets of program operations. Work with the safety leader and engineering to ensure aircraft systems and subsystems safety of flight. Assist in performing the necessary hazard analyses to identify potentially hazardous conditions and recommend actions that would contribute to the minimization or prevention of hazards. Support creation of functional excellence standards and planning for future products development studies. Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status. Basic Qualification : Bachelor’s degree or higher is required as a BASIC QUALIFICATION Bachelors Engineering degree, Preferably Electronics/Aeronautical/Electrical / Systems Engineering with upto 13-16 years / Master's degree, with upto 12-15 years' related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in systems safety analysis as per ARP 4761. Experience in ARP4754A guideline for aircraft/systems development processes. Domain knowledge of propulsion systems and installation, fuel systems, APU systems and installations, and engine controls are preferred. Experience with FAA Part 25 and/or Part 33 certification would certainly be valued assets in this position. Understanding of DO 254/DO178C standards is preferred. Experience in systems engineering and development process. Experience with Model Based System Engineering tools (CAMEO or similar) Should have experience on Integrated Modular Avionics Systems or any other Avionics Systems development lifecycle. Experience in safety requirements development, verification and validation. Experience in safety analysis such as FMEA, FTA and Reliability Tools is preferred. Certifications related to systems safety (FAA/EASA) preferred Working experience on design and development on Propulsion and Fuel systems (APU systems, Engine Control systems, Thrust Reverser Control systems, Engine Installation systems). Exposure to Systems testing knowledge. Hands on Experience on IBM Rational DOORS in Requirements Management is preferred. Basic understanding of systems architecture. Ability to foresee and manage risks/risk management. Self-motivated, Good problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience ) : Develop and maintain relationships / partnerships with customers, team members, peers, and partners to develop collaborative plans and complete projects. Demonstrate strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Be fluent in written and spoken English and have high degree of proficiency with MS Office tools to prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, proposals, and Statements of Work.
