JOB DESCRIPTION: - Ø Software Knowledge – CERO & CATIA & AUTOCAD & Flow Analysis Software. Ø He should know about Die Design Calculation. Ø To do design for HPDC tool, 2D Drawing for manufacturing processes like Turning CG, VMC, EDM, Wire cut, surface grinding, jig boring and assembly Drawing. Ø Take Bill of material for the designed model and select the material according to the part function and assembled area. Ø To do design for our HPDC production plant requirements like checking gauges, trimming tools, and casting bend removal tool fixtures. Ø Prepare a model inspection report compared to a 3D model and customer casting drawing. Ø To get approval for the final part model and drawing from customers through e-mail or onsite meetings. The meetings are recorded with MOM (Minutes of meeting) paper. Ø Make updates in the model to meet casting requirements and customer modification. Then get approval for the modified model from the customer through ECN. Ø To conduct a design review meeting with the CFT team before finalizing the design. Ø Gets feedback from the tool assembly team regarding assembly issues; then the problems are recorded in the FMEA checklist. Ø Calculate the machine parameters for tool trial. Take trial for the tool with production team mates. Get feedback from the production team about trial through trial sheets to take corrections in the tool. Ø Interact with quality team after taking the FIR (First Inspection Report) for trailed components to ensure the component quality before submitting to the customer Ø Take tool correction for the next trail with help for feedback sheets from the production team.
