As a Front-End Engineer within the Global Technology Products Engineering department at Prudential, you will be an integral part of our team, bringing your expertise and passion for developing front-end applications using modern technologies. With over 5 years of relevant experience, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our digital initiatives. Your responsibilities will include applying the latest development methodologies and processes to create flawless user interfaces. You will focus on code quality, testing, and automation to ensure robust regression testing and continuous quality improvements. Collaboration is essential, as you will work closely with a dynamic team in a start-up-like setting, contributing to the success of our digital projects through effective communication and documentation skills. Furthermore, your involvement in our Community of Practice will allow you to share knowledge, learn from others, and drive innovation and continuous improvement. You will also contribute to our inner sourcing culture, promoting code reuse, collaboration, and overall code quality within the organization. Qualifications: - Proven experience in developing modern front-end web applications - Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript - Experience with modern front-end frameworks - Deep understanding of responsive web design, performance optimization, and accessibility standards - Familiarity with unit testing and end-to-end testing frameworks - Strong communication and collaboration skills Required Skills: - Experience in building Flutter applications - Knowledge of web technologies for Progressive Web Apps (PWA) - Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript - Git version control - Package management tools such as Pub - Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI, or similar for automated deployments - Flutter SDK and Dart programming language expertise - Familiarity with Flutter testing frameworks Join us at Prudential and be part of a team that is dedicated to delivering cutting-edge solutions and exceptional user experiences.
