**Role Overview:** As an Experienced Professional (P2) within this role, you will be responsible for identifying, exploring, and implementing technology and product development strategies to enhance global positioning. Your focus will be on ensuring project execution, fostering innovation, and developing R&D capabilities for profitability. Additionally, you will devise research methods, specify laboratory test equipment and processes, and make recommendations on the acquisition of new technological equipment and materials within set budgets. **Key Responsibilities:** - Serve as a technology expert specializing in transformer insulation drying, fluid treatment, and fluid filling processes by conducting experiments and collaborating with R&D teams and manufacturing units. - Contribute technological insights to enhance transformer quality, optimize process efficiency, and minimize process-related failures. - Support R&D initiatives aimed at advancing automation and digitalization across processing stages. - Identify, propose, and develop technological improvements for processing workflows, assisting Global Operations teams in successful implementation. - Collaborate effectively within global, cross-functional project teams and participate in feasibility studies and design products. - Evaluate and enhance production processes, offer expert advice to manufacturing facilities, and collaborate with research scientists, technology centers, and academic partners. **Qualifications Required:** - PhD or masters with research experience in Material Science, Chemical, or industrial technologies. - Minimum of 5 years of R&D experience in industrial processes involving drying, fluid treatment, and vacuum technologies. - Hands-on experience in experimental validation and implementation of new process technologies. - Strong analytical capabilities and proficiency in modern tools for process monitoring, simulation, and digitalization. - Ability to work across interdisciplinary topics, familiarity with CAD modeling software is advantageous. - Proven ability to collaborate effectively within international teams, willingness to travel, and excellent communication skills in English.
