• To ensure that All Operational Equipment’s should be available on time for production. • Reduce the Equipment down time to minimum 3percent. • To ensure that all activities are in a safe manner and adhere to the norms. • To ensure that all Electrical, civil and instrumental activities should be done in time. • Take care of all Utility equipment’s like chilling plants, cooling towers, VAM, Boiler, Water system, HVAC, Vacuum system, Thermic fluid system and its circulation pumps • To maintain the equipment inventory management system. • Control the monthly budget to meet committed KRA. • To develop the second level team and maintain good co-ordination among all depts. • Prepare the qualification, SOP and Change control documents to meet CGMP norms and Good Knowledge in GMP Requirements • Address the building maintenance system. • To Initiate Energy conservation activities and implement the same with proper approval. • Manpower Attrition control mechanism with motivate skills and training methods. • Prepare daily report and forward the same to site head and corporate Engineering team. • Prepare monthly reports and circulate the same to concerned teams. • Review the key result areas as committed in financial year to the top management.

Job Requirements Process Engineer in Oil & Gas domain with upstream or refinery experience. Involved in process calculations for cross country pipelines, Root cause analysis, Simulation studies , multiphase flow, and well head operations during normal, emergency, start-up & shutdown. Prepare and review PFD, P&ID , Heat and Mass Balance calculations, multiphase and surge calculations, hydraulic and pressure drop calculations Preparation of process parameters in pipeline datasheets Experience of risk studies and Brainstorming on Process units involving consequences and safeguards based on the nature of Risk and associated response systems. Preparation and review of Process datasheets of equipment such as Separators, Heat exchangers, sizing of PSV’s and Control Valves. Procedures for Testing and commissioning of pipelines including Hydrostatic test, Pneumatic test, chemical cleaning and their method statements. Requirements and Types of Insulation and associated process calculations Participated in MOC studies and recommendations Pressure Surge Analysis using SPS pipeline hydraulic simulator SPS surge studies for a single flow control device SPS surge studies for a multiple flow control device using Model lab simulations. SPS simulation data extraction and processing SPS overpressure mitigation studies Pipeline Maximum Operating Discharge Pressure (MODP), Pressure Derate, RV Sizing, and Hydrostatic test calcs. Run MODP Calculations based on pipe design and hydrotest info using PA Tool for each pipeline segment. Provide Psafe calculations for MODP Derate, gather pressure data from Control Centers for derate calculations. Gather field data for RV sizing, determine the overpressure scenario, identify fluid type and properties at relieving condition, set pressure and overpressure allowance, determine the actual orifice size, calculate the required relief rate. Determine Hydrostatic test pressure for pipeline replacement projects. Work Experience Chemical engineering or equivalent degree is required. 8-12 years’ experience with upstream / refining domain and cross country pipelines background is required. Good understanding of process unit operations and process calculations, including, fluid flow principles, and reaction principles, is a plus. Working experience with HYSYS and HTRI is an advantage Must have good technical communication skills. This includes ability to communicate efficiently and effectively with unit engineers to understand their issues and problems and communicate solutions.

SENIOR OPTIMIZATION ENGINEER Hyderabad Role Senior Optimization Engineer Contract type Permanent About the role As a Senior Optimization Engineer you provide technical expertise in the area of numerical optimization of thermo-fluid systems which are core to the Company's business this includes trade-off and optimize energy efficiency, production cost and operating economy. You engage with global product teams to solicit business needs and convert those into computational decision-making workflows, methods and tools to radically impact how company's products are designed, deployed and operated. Key targets include improving engineering effectiveness as well as developing disruptive, innovative methods for model-based design and operation of company's systems. You also take active part in product development to support design engineers in adopting and using new methods and tools. You also work closely with other teams in Systems, Controls, ML/AI COE, including teams responsible for model development (to drive the development of optimization-friendly thermo-fluid models) and controls engineering (to promote the use of computational optimization strategies (MPC, RTO) as needed). Skills and qualifications Proven ability to capture engineering design and operation problems as mathematical programming problems (NLPs), including attention to reliable convergence of such problems. Proficient with the mathematical theory (applied mathematics, numerical analysis and functional analysis), algorithmic foundations (notably existence and convergence proofs), and methods/tools for numerical optimization (SQP, interior point method, etc.) of large-scale systems. Experience from using common algorithms/solvers for large-scale gradient-based non-linear programs, e.g., IPOPT, CONOPT, KNITRO, and WORHP, including their respective applicability to different types of problems. Experience from formulating and solving discrete optimization problems and using common algorithms, including CPLEX and Gurobi. Familiarity with physics-based modeling principles and best practices of thermo-fluid systems, such as vapor compression cycles or power plants. Familiarity and experience with development of computational platforms and tools in Python or equivalent. Familiarity with using HPC and cloud-based platforms for computation at scale. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and an entrepreneurial attitude towards technological innovation in a global environment. Ensure that appropriate computational methods, tools and algorithms for large-scale numerical optimization are based on sound mathematical foundations and are deployed to match the needs of the company's business, including contributing to the architecture, development, testing and documentation of the methods and tools developed in the group. Modeling for optimization. Support development of mathematical models for thermo-fluid systems are built based on principles and best practices that secure reliable application of numerical optimization algorithms. Talent. Support development and training of staff within company's product teams and within the Computational Engineering group; contribute to talent pipeline by supervising student internships and theses.
