Job Summary: As a Senior Electrical Engineer with a valid license, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and managing the installation and maintenance of electrical systems, equipment, and devices. Your primary focus will be to ensure compliance with safety standards, enhance energy efficiency, and troubleshoot electrical issues to ensure seamless operational continuity. You will play a crucial role in planning, scheduling repairs and maintenance, and guaranteeing continuous production operations. Collaborating with maintenance and production staff, you will develop preventive maintenance plans and execute them effectively. Your expertise should include working experience and knowledge of 22/33/66 KV power systems, as well as familiarity with a wide range of equipment including Transformers, VCB, ACB, LT Panels, Motors, DG sets, Fire Systems, and Circuit Breakers. Proficiency in industrial automation, VFDs, microcontrollers, and relay-based circuits is essential. You should possess a strong understanding of both LT and HT sides, along with knowledge in asset management, spare management, and various improvement methodologies such as 5s, Kaizens, Poke Yoke, CAPA, and RCA. Your responsibilities will encompass initiating power-saving projects with ROI calculations, budget preparation, and effective management. You will be involved in monitoring and finalizing Annual Maintenance Contracts, tracking warranties, and negotiating with OEMs when necessary. Utilizing maintenance tools such as MTTR, MTBF, OEE, FMEA, RCA, and CAPA will be essential for calculating maintenance efficiency and improving performance. Your role will also involve liaising with electricity boards, preparing, reviewing, and analyzing maintenance plans, designing and implementing electrical systems and circuits, and addressing process-related queries through automation. Effective manpower and work management, in compliance with all legal requirements, will be a key aspect of your job. Additionally, you should have a sound working knowledge of various instruments like Pressure Transmitters, Flow Transmitters, RTDs, Temperature Transmitters, Fire Systems, and Gas Analyzing Systems. Summary of the Role: Officer - Instrumentation is responsible for executing Instrument installations, automation & control system related maintenance activities on his own with compliance to all related legal & Lubrizol HSES policies and requirements under the guidance of Manager - Instrumentation. He will perform day to day routine maintenance/preventive/predictive maintenance activities during rotational shifts to support manufacturing activities. As and when required, he will perform modification, Capex & project related activities. Responsibilities / Accountabilities: - Executing preventive & predictive maintenance of process instrumentation, automation & control system as per schedule. - Maintain Calibration Lab. - Attending breakdown maintenance jobs ensuring minimum downtime and reliable solution for instrumentation, automation and control systems. - Support contractors team and vendors service team at site to execute the jobs. Supervise their work, quality & safety performance. - Understand instruments criticality and associated relevant requirements and health mapping of critical instruments. - Identification of maintenance spares & consumables required for process instrumentation, automation & control system. - Coordination for procurement of required spares/consumables in consultation with Manager - Instrumentation. - Maintain the stock/inventory of spares/consumables at engineering store. - Executing day-to-day maintenance jobs by coordination with cross-functional team. - Conducting risk assessment involved in all jobs through work permit system along with JSA (Job Safety Analysis) of non-routine & critical jobs and management of change as per requirement. - Adherence to ISO system and maintaining records and documents as per ISO as well as department functional requirements like Daily log, Equipment History Cards, Reports, MoM, Certificates etc. - Actively participate and support instrumentation function for improvement and standardization. - Ensuring 100% legal compliances applicable to department based on Factories act and other statutory bodies. - Understand & execute pre-defined procedures of jobs for compliance, good engineering practices, good Housekeeping. - Take appropriate decision during shift to ensure continuity of plant and utility operations. - Learn & understand various plant systems and conduct troubleshooting of Process Instrumentation, automation & control systems. Requirements (education, experience, competencies and specific job requirements): Education / Certification: - Minimum Qualification: Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering Experience and Skills: - Minimum 05-07 years of experience of process instrumentation, automation and control system maintenance in chemical, specialty chemical / petrochemical plants. - Knowledge and hands-on experience of DCS, PLC, SCADA (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Schneider). - Knowledge and hands-on experience in maintenance & calibration of all types of Pressure transmitter, Temperature sensor & transmitter, Flow transmitter, Level transmitter, On/Off valve, Control valve, Pneumatic system, Pressure gauge, Temperature indicator, pH / Conductivity sensor & transmitters, RPM sensor, Vibration sensors, Gas detectors, Load cells, Weigh indicators. - Knowledge and hands-on experience of Radio Shuttle, Walkie Talkie, Public Announcement system & Fire Detection system. - Knowledge and hands-on experience of Master calibrators and Automation systems. - Previous experience of working as maintenance technician/associates in rotational shift working environment of MNC or chemical company related to batch operations. - Experience of working in 5S system and handling continual improvements. - Working knowledge of English. - Computer skills: MS Office & SAP.
