As a WebMethods Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying integration solutions using the WebMethods Integration Server. You will configure and collaborate with various components such as Broker, Universal Messaging, and Trading Networks. Your role will involve developing various services like Flow Services, Java Services, and Adapter Services. Implementing web services (SOAP/REST) and managing XML, JSON, JMS, and MQ protocols will be essential tasks. Additionally, configuring WebMethods adapters such as JDBC, SAP, and JMS for integration purposes will be part of your responsibilities. Your expertise will be crucial in performing data transformation using tools like XSLT, EDI, and related technologies. Role & responsibilities Participating in the technical design process with the Integration Architect(s) and Functional Team on key integration project(s) Provide expert-level technical support for WebMethods Integration Server and related components. Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to system performance, connectivity, and functionality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to diagnose and resolve integration-related problems. Perform routine system maintenance tasks, including applying patches and updates. Monitor system performance, analyze logs, and proactively address potential issues. Ensure high availability and reliability of the WebMethods platform. Collaborate with application development teams to design, develop, and maintain integrations using WebMethods. Create and maintain documentation for integration processes and configurations. Developing Integration applications as per the specifications using the webMethods Integration Server software and JAVA core technologies Unit testing your code using SDLC standard methodologies Developing programming specifications Participating in all phases of system and integration testing Coordinating the delivery of quality artifacts across multiple projects in a timely manner Completing estimates and work plans with the assistance of more senior team members as appropriate for design, development, implementation and rollout tasks Assisting other personnel on assignments including mentoring or providing on-the-job training to more junior associates Skills: Expert level knowledge of Software AG WebMethods 10.x Integration Server and related technologies Understanding or Experience in IPAAS is Added Advantage. Experience with API management and ESB concepts. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience documenting and communicating integration designs aligned to business requirements.
