Purpose: At Cohizon, we think it's important to be leaders in new chemical technologies. To achieve this goal, we are gathering a team of chemists who will incorporate this new continuous technology into Sajjan's collection of advanced chemical processes and skills. We are looking for highly motivated chemist/engineers to work closely with the R&D production team to take continuous process from laboratory scale to plant scale. We are trying to bridge the knowledge gap from laboratory equipment conventional batch process to continuous flow chemistry instruments. Role & responsibilities: Technology- Responsible to Ensure smooth functioning of flow chemistry Laboratory. Good knowledge of developing and optimizing continuous flow chemistry process. Handling different types of flow reactor equipments for process intensification. Plans and Design experiments for product development. Responsible for timely completion of plan and development of products and processes on continuous flow reactor. Good knowledge of analytical tools such as NMR, IR, HPLC, GC. Laboratory Performance- Ensure the flow reactor operation during performing chemical reaction and follow strict methodologies to carry out safe experimentation. Regular checking and control of laboratory journals and other records. Maintenance of Equipments or Instruments given under laboratory control. Collaborate with other divisions for work related matters Operation and Safety- Good Knowledge of using flow reactors, understanding how to operate reactors, distillation equipment, crystallization techniques, and separation processes. Understanding reaction parameters means having knowledge about the factors that affect a chemical reaction. Good observation refers to carefully watching the reaction process. Documenting the unit operations is the act of recording information about the steps involved in a chemical process. Follow and put into action safety rules. Knowledge of handling and use of PPEs to operate hazardous reaction in safe manner. Documentation and Data Analysis- Analyzes and documents the complied results obtained during product and flow process development. Work together with analytical chemists to get information, study it, and give a report to the Sr. Management while writing it down in lab notebooks. Stakeholder Management- Show that you have a good attitude and can work well with others in a fast and always changing technology setting. Manage Stakeholder mapping and prepare communication to stakeholders, Also, answer any questions they may have. Policies, Processes and Systems- Analyzes and understands business systems, current practices, and challenges. Evaluates procedures, identifies best practices, and recommends changes. Works with system stakeholders and IT leadership to develop application work plans, identify priorities, and establish timelines and goals. Have great organization, writing, and speaking skills to communicate project goals and get support from colleagues and higher-ups. Please diligently follow the procedures set by the company.
