Job Opening: Captain – F&B Department: Food & Beverage Location: MYSA Sky Suite, Lakkidi, Wayanad (A venture of Flora Hospitality) Job Description: We are looking for a passionate and service-oriented Captain – F&B to join our Food & Beverage team at MYSA Sky Suite. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership and customer service skills, ensuring guests enjoy a seamless and memorable dining experience. Key Responsibilities: Greet and escort guests to their tables in a courteous and professional manner. Present menus, explain items, and provide detailed information about portions, ingredients, and possible allergens. Ensure timely and efficient service to all guests. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems or order slips. Ensure guest satisfaction with each course and promptly address any concerns. Check dishes and glassware for cleanliness and presentation before serving. Communicate effectively with guests and colleagues using professional language and etiquette. Review daily specials, menu updates, and reservation details with the restaurant team. Apply service techniques consistently and maintain high service standards at all times. Qualifications & Experience: Diploma/Degree in Food & Beverage or Hospitality Management. Minimum 2 years of experience as a Captain or Senior Waiter in a reputed hotel or resort. Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards and menu presentation. Excellent communication skills in English. A positive attitude, attention to detail, and passion for guest service.
