Job Purpose/ Summary Support yarn planning head with excel based template filling and data analysis Job Title Support Hot Zone Casting WDIPL Job Description As a Senior Engineer, you will be a key member of the Hot Zone Casting WDIPL team, responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the casting process in a steel plant environment. You will be expected to have a deep understanding of product and process knowledge, with a particular focus on ductile iron pipe. You will also be responsible for MIS & Reporting, and should be proficient in SAP or other IT related applications. Principal Accountabilities Oversee and manage all aspects of the casting process in a steel plant environment, ensuring that all operations are carried out in accordance with established procedures and standards. Utilize your product and process knowledge to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes as necessary. Prepare and present MIS reports, providing key insights into operational performance and identifying areas for improvement. Use SAP or other IT related applications to manage and monitor operations, ensuring that all data is accurately recorded and maintained. Act as a liaison between different departments and stakeholders, facilitating communication and ensuring that all parties are aligned on objectives and expectations. Manage and resolve any conflicts that may arise, using your decision-making skills to find solutions that are in the best interest of the company. Demonstrate a global mindset and business acumen, understanding the wider implications of your work and making decisions that support the company's strategic objectives. Foster a culture of entrepreneurship and people excellence, encouraging innovation and continuous improvement among your team.
