We are conducting a face-to-face interview drive in Bengaluru for the position of Flight Stability Engineer. Please note: The job location will be in Nagpur , Maharashtra, upon successful selection. Interview Details: Date: Saturday 21st June 2025 (10am to 5pm) Venue: Novotel-Bangalore Description • Evaluate Stability Criteria for a UAV of a given weight class and configuration for providing it with necessary control inputs for the given flight envelope. Along with this it is expected that the flight stability engineer shall investigate stability related issues and provide solution to address aerodynamic, structural and control related deficiencies. The flight stability engineer shall assist with controls team to develop the control logic for providing a stable platform for the given mission requirement. While meeting the performance requirements Responsibilities • Derive and analyze the stability and control characteristics of the given UAV, including longitudinal, lateral, and directional stability. • Conduct Dynamic Simulations to assess the behavior during various phases of flight like take off, climb, cruise, descent, landing and payload drop. • Conducting sensitivity analyses to identify the effects of design changes on flight stability and performance. • Validating performance and refining control laws by conducting stability and control testing. • Working along with flight testing for monitoring real time data for identifying stability related issues and provide recommendations for system adjustment or design improvement. Qualifications • Bachelors or Masters degree in aerospace engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field • Proven experience flight stability and dynamics within aerospace or defence industries • Proficiency in flight simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink, or similar) for simulating different flight scenarios and predicting response • Familiarity with Regulatory standards relevant to stability, control and certification processes for MALE class of UAVs

Role Overview We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled GNC Engineer to join our multidisciplinary engineering team. You will be responsible for the development and implementation of guidance, navigation, and control algorithms and systems for our launch vehicles. You will work across simulation, flight software, and hardware-in-the-loop testing to ensure safe and precise flight. Key Responsibilities Design and develop GNC algorithms for launch vehicles, including trajectory optimization, guidance laws, navigation filters (e.g., Kalman filters), and control laws. Model vehicle dynamics and simulate full flight profiles in 6DOF environments. Implement and test navigation systems using IMUs, GPS, and other sensors. Collaborate with avionics, propulsion, and software teams for integrated vehicle simulations and closed-loop performance verification. Design attitude control systems for various flight phases including lift-off, ascent, coast, and reentry (if applicable). Develop tools and frameworks for real-time GNC analysis, tuning, and validation. Participate in pre-flight simulations, hardware-in-the-loop testing, and post-flight data analysis. Support system integration, test campaigns, and launch operations as required. Qualifications Required: Bachelors/Masters degree in Aerospace Engineering, Control Systems, Robotics, or a related field. Strong fundamentals in flight dynamics, control theory, estimation, and numerical optimization. Experience with MATLAB/Simulink and/or Python for simulation and modeling. Familiarity with state estimation techniques (e.g., Kalman filtering). Experience with embedded systems and real-time implementation of control algorithms. Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for precision. Preferred: Hands-on experience in launch vehicle or UAV GNC systems. Familiarity with embedded C/C++ and software-in-the-loop / hardware-in-the-loop testing. Knowledge of sensor fusion techniques and real-time navigation systems.
