API Migration Engineer (SOAP GraphQL) eBay Experience Required
Skills: Enterprise client Experience / DS Algo / Problem Solving. Primary Job Responsibilities: Design and develop public APIs, adhering to industry best practices and internal standards. Work on major features from the design phase through coding, testing, deployment, and support. Build micro web services and GraphQL based API based on the industry standard and best practices. Migrate data storage codebase from using Oracle relational databases to using cloud based distributed storage solutions. Job Requirements: B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science or an equivalent professional experience 3+ years of software design and development experience, tackling non-trivial problems in backend services and / or data pipelines Experience in designing and developing distributed systems. Expertise and hands-on experience in Java/J2EE, Data Structures, XML, REST, JSON, and Internet Protocols. Proficiency in Java programming language with a strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and a solid understanding of multithreading, synchronization, and concurrent programming. A deep architectural understanding of system design and the ability to complete projects with minimal direction. Solid knowledge and experience with relational databases, OR mapping and NoSQL data technologies. Experience in micro web service development. GraphQL experience is a plus
5+ years of professional experience in frontend development, with a strong focus on React.js. Solid understanding of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3. Experience with TypeScript in a production environment. Proficient in state management (e.g., Redux, Context API, MobX, or similar). Experience with component libraries and frameworks like Material UI, Ant Design, or Tailwind CSS. Familiarity with frontend build tools (e.g., Webpack, Vite, Babel). Good understanding of REST APIs, and integration with backend services. Experience with version control tools, primarily Git. Strong debugging and performance profiling skills.
