Backup & Recovery Support: Manage and maintain backup policies, schedules, and retention strategies, ensuring data protection and availability. Incident & Problem Management: Act as the primary technical point of contact for backup-related issues, providing quick resolutions and root cause analysis. Capacity Planning & Optimization: Continuously assess backup infrastructure, storage capacity, and performance to ensure efficiency and scalability. Patch & Upgrade Management: Keep the NetBackup environment up to date by applying patches, firmware updates, and necessary software upgrades. Disaster Recovery Planning & Testing: Develop and test recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and business continuity. Security & Compliance Adherence: Implement and maintain backup security best practices, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Maintain up-to-date documentation of configurations, policies, and best practices to support internal teams and end-users. Collaboration & Customer Engagement: Work closely with customer teams, IT support, and Cohesity Professional Services to optimize NetBackup deployment and resolve issues effectively. Engage in technology discussions and solution positioning from the first meeting to deal closure and implementation. Understand high-level architectures for cloud and highly available applications. Work alongside Enterprise Services and Sales teams, as well as key accredited partners, to support solution design and implementation. Translate customer business requirements into integrated technical solutions and ensure seamless integration into existing environments. Represent Cohesity Professional Services through presentations that highlight the value and impact of our solutions. Drive technical closure while working closely with internal PMO teams for successful implementations. Keep up to date with industry trends and continuously learn new technologies.
