As a Laser Equipment Operator, your primary responsibility will be to set up and operate laser equipment for various applications. This includes using laser tools for tasks such as Coupling alignment, flatness measurement, and bore measurement, as well as shaft line assessments on different applications. It is crucial to have industrial knowledge related to the application of laser equipment. In this role, you will be required to prepare drawings, sketches, and follow verbal or written instructions to carry out machining operations as per standard operating procedures. Your attention to detail will be essential as you will need to ensure that parts are produced to meet customer and engineering specifications. Additionally, you will be responsible for inspecting parts for conformity, troubleshooting errors, and addressing non-conformity issues. Understanding dimensions and tolerances, interpreting technical drawings, and other relevant technical documents will be part of your daily tasks to determine appropriate repair parts and procedures. You will also need to operate and inspect completed work to evaluate the success of repairs. Maintaining a clean and organized work area is important for efficiency and safety. Regular inspections of laser tools and equipment will be necessary to ensure their proper functioning. You will also collaborate with the Department Head on costing and standard deliverables. Your role will require effective time management and coordination of tasks assigned by the Manager. Efficient job planning, time scheduling, and adherence to safety protocols and ISO Standards are essential aspects of this position. Additionally, you may be assigned other tasks by the manager or management as needed. To qualify for this role, you should have at least 5-6 years of experience in the field of laser applications and hold a Diploma or Degree in Engineering. Proficiency in English and the local language is preferred. Being willing to work in a stressful environment, travel overseas, and possessing offshore experience and training in BOSIT and CDC will be advantageous. The ideal candidate will demonstrate analytical, planning, execution, and problem-solving skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with a positive attitude, integrity, and good organizational and time management abilities, are essential for success in this role.,
