Role & responsibilities Operate machines such as stranding, extrusion, armoring, sheathing, or ribboning based on shift assignment. Monitor production parameters and machine settings to ensure quality output. Perform visual inspection of in-process and finished cables to detect defects. Handle raw materials, load machines, and manage spools or reels as required. Record daily production data and downtime logs accurately. Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality control guidelines. Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of the work area (5S compliance). Report any equipment issues or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately. Assist in changeovers, maintenance shutdowns, and new product trials as required. Key Competencies: Machine Handling & Operation Quality Awareness Discipline & Punctuality Teamwork Safety Compliance Willingness to Learn Key Requirements: Qualification: ITI / Diploma / 12th Pass with relevant experience. Experience: Min 1 Year in cable manufacturing, extrusion, or related industries preferred. rotating shifts (Day/Night)
