As a Senior Full Stack Developer - Python at Siemens Energy, you will play a crucial role in developing and enhancing application software. Your responsibilities will include designing technical architecture, conducting software tests, debugging code, creating a database design schema, writing technical and functional documentation, analyzing customer needs, selecting appropriate technical solutions, and staying updated with technological advancements. Your impact will be significant as you program and write codes, conduct unit tests based on functional requirements, perform peer code reviews to identify design and implementation gaps, support business improvement projects following agile principles like SCRUM, provide user support for applications in the production environment, and write SQL queries to meet business requirements. You will work in a flexible, cross-functional, team-based development environment. To excel in this role, you should have expertise in Python, Flask/Django, Pandas, FastAPI, Sync/Async programming, a solid understanding of OOPs concepts and design patterns, proficiency in at least one JavaScript framework (Angular 2+/ReactJS/ExtJS/Node JS/Vaadin), strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS, XML, OOA, OOD Concepts, experience with graph databases and data mesh concepts, familiarity with AWS Cloud Services (S3 bucket, AWS Lambda, SQS, ECS, API Gateway), and knowledge of code versioning tools like GIT, PyCharm, VSCode, and Postman. Additionally, you should have good knowledge of PostgreSQL database, experience with Snowflake Databases and PL/SQL queries, familiarity with basic Linux/Unix commands, and an understanding of high-quality professional software engineering practices for an agile software development cycle. Your ability to work in a fast-paced, Agile, release often environment, troubleshoot technology integration scenarios, and apply findings in complex troubleshooting scenarios will be essential.
