Key Responsibilities: Lead a team of Freight Brokers, providing guidance, mentorship, and motivation to achieve individual and team targets. Manage Drayage and OTR freight operations efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries and optimal resource utilization. Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers and shippers to facilitate smooth transactions and negotiate favorable rates. Oversee the entire sales process from lead generation to deal closure, maximizing revenue opportunities. Analyze market trends, identify growth opportunities, and implement strategies to expand the client base and increase market share. Requirements: Proven experience as a Freight Broker in the Drayage and OTR sector. Existing book of business that can continue with you in the new organization. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. Strong negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal. In-depth knowledge of US logistics regulations and industry best practices. Proficiency in using freight brokerage software and other relevant tools.
