FinOps role: GCP Cost Management & Reporting: for HCD and Provider teams Own and enhance dashboards for GCP compute/storage cost visibility across 1213 applications. Utilize tools such as Apptio and Tableau or PowerBI dashboards to analyze and report costs. Set up and maintain views, filters, and account tagging in cost management tools. Work closely with the team lead to ensure cost attribution is accurate by using AD account names, application IDs, etc. Identify and resolve gaps in cost allocation logic. 2. Internal Operations Tool (Power Apps / Power BI / Tableau / Streamlit) Design and develop a lightweight operations portal/tool, using Power Apps (preferred), Streamlit, Tableau, or other front-end dashboard platforms. Support setup of environments and manage backend integration (e.g., uploading Excel data, managing metadata). Features will include: OKR tracking, contractor status, record-keeping, dashboarding. Help integrate with GCP or local data sources to ensure backend logic is robust and secure. 3. Querying & Data Transformation Use SQL/Python or GCP-native tools (e.g., BigQuery) to support data extraction and transformation. Build lightweight automation for data prep if required. Assist with validating data and transforming inputs for dashboard consumption.
