Job Description

Role & responsibilities Creating detailed 2D and 3D designs for welding and assembly fixtures using CAD tools Performing engineering calculations to ensure the integrity and functionality of the fixture design. Managing timelines and ensuring the delivery of designs that meet project milestones. Conducting quality checks and validations for the fixtures to ensure they meet manufacturing standards. Working closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing and quality assurance, to optimize fixture designs. Addressing manufacturing challenges and implementing design improvements. Preparing technical documentation, including BOM (Bill of Materials) and design specifications. Preferred candidate profile ITI draughtsmen, Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Tool and Die Making, or a related field. Hands-on experience in designing welding fixtures, often ranging from 6 months to 1 years, depending on the job level. Proficiency in CAD software like Inventor, SolidWorks, or NX Familiarity with welding processes such as MIG and spot welding. Precision in creating 3D designs and 2D detailing for manufacturing Strong analytical skills to address design challenges and optimize manufacturing processes. Ability to work with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing and quality assurance. Must have knowledge of GD&T Perks and benefits
