Fixed Voice Platform Test Engineer

Role Overview: As a Fixed Voice Platform Test Engineer in Sydney, you will be responsible for testing Sonus/Ribbon Session Border Controller (SBC), Sonus/Ribbon PSX and GSC, Ribbon C20, along with working on SIP Protocols and testing SIP voice connecting to PABX. Your expertise in using Probes & Analysers and signal generators like Tektronix Iris & Niometrics will be crucial in ensuring the efficiency of the fixed voice platform. With 6 to 12 years of industry experience in the Telecom sector, you will play a vital role in the testing and deployment of various components. Key Responsibilities: - Testing Sonus/Ribbon Session Border Controller (SBC), Sonus/Ribbon PSX and GSC, Ribbon C20 - Working on SIP Protocols and testing SIP voice connecting to PABX - Utilizing Probes & Analysers and signal generators like Tektronix Iris & Niometrics - Understanding and assessing requirements and processes - Identifying and resolving issues/defects in the fixed voice platform - Transferring knowledge to team members and effective communication both orally and in writing Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Engineering/ Computer Science / Information Technology / Telecommunications - Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in fixed or core mobile network manual / automation testing - Comprehensive understanding of internet protocols in data, voice, and video suites - Experience in design, deployment, or testing of Sonus/Ribbon Session Border Controller (SBC), Sonus/Ribbon PSX and GSC, Ribbon C20 - Familiarity with Software testing lifecycle, process, and methodologies (Note: Additional details of the company were not provided in the job description.),
