Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Deputy General Manager at a Credit co-operative society, located in Mumbai. The Deputy General Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring implementation of Shariah mechanism, implementing strategies and policies to ensure operational efficiency, supervising and mentoring staff, managing budgets, and ensuring regulatory compliance. In addition, the role involves developing business plans, conducting performance evaluations, and collaborating with other departments to achieve organizational goals. Qualifications Leadership and team management skills, with experience in supervising and mentoring staff. Strong financial management skills, including budget management and financial planning. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and negotiation. Knowledge and hands on experience with Shariah compliant products or business. Experience in strategic planning and implementing policies for operational efficiency. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance within the financial industry. Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions. A proven track record in business development and achieving organizational goals. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Relevant experience in the banking or financial services industry (Preferred Shariah compliance experience)
