About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Head to lead our solar energy business development efforts across IPP (Independent Power Producer), Group Captive, and Open Access models. The role will focus on acquiring large industrial and commercial customers, structuring project agreements, and closing high-value deals. ⸻ Key Responsibilities: • Drive sales and partnerships for 5–50 MW solar projects under IPP, Group Captive, and Open Access models • Identify, pitch, and close deals with C&I clients, industrial parks, and infrastructure partners • Lead structuring of PPAs, group captive agreements, and open access frameworks • Coordinate with regulatory, finance, and technical teams to deliver bankable project proposals • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline across target regions and industries • Maintain relationships with large energy consumers, consultants, and government bodies • Report to the leadership team on deal status, project risks, and revenue forecasts ⸻ Requirements: • 5–10 years of experience in B2B sales or business development in the solar/renewables sector • Proven track record in closing open access/group captive deals (10 MW+) • Deep understanding of state-wise open access policies, wheeling charges, and SLDC processes • Strong communication, negotiation, and client management skills • Experience working with IPPs, EPCs, and financial stakeholders is a plus • Engineering or business degree preferred ⸻ Compensation: Competitive, with performance-linked incentives and ESOPs (if applicable) Reporting To: Director – Energy or Founders Show more Show less
