Job Description

Role & responsibilities Perform regular preventive maintenance on food processing machines (mixers, conveyors, blenders, packaging lines, etc.). Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out timely repairs to avoid production delays. Install, align, and adjust new machinery according to specifications and hygiene standards. Ensure all maintenance work complies with food safety and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines. Maintain accurate maintenance records and report any issues to the Maintenance Manager. Assist in equipment upgrades, modifications, and continuous improvement activities. Ensure all tools and equipment are cleaned and stored properly after use. Work collaboratively with electricians, production staff, and QA teams. Preferred candidate profile ITI / Diploma in Fitter, Mechanical Engineering, or a related trade. 2+ years of experience in maintenance within a food processing or FMCG plant. Strong understanding of mechanical systems such as conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, and food-grade equipment.
