Visit to Website is a must before interview: www.koldpackindia.in Job Purpose : The Fitter in an industrial goods company is responsible for assembling, installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment used in production processes. This role involves interpreting technical drawings, using various hand and power tools, and ensuring that all machinery operates safely and efficiently. JOB DESCRIPTION Assemble, install, and maintain machinery and mechanical components according to technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions. Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs to minimize downtime. Quickly identify and resolve mechanical problems with equipment, ensuring minimal disruption to production processes. Fit and align mechanical components such as bearings, shafts, gears, and hydraulics, ensuring precision and functionality. Operate various hand tools, power tools, and machinery required for assembly, fitting, and repairs. Perform welding or minor fabrication as needed to fit parts or repair equipment, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to guide the assembly and fitting of machinery. Follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Work closely with engineers, production managers, and other technicians to ensure that machinery and equipment are functioning efficiently and that all repairs are completed in a timely manner.
