Job Summary:

The Fitter Cum Welder will be responsible for assembling, fabricating, and maintaining piping, structural frames, and mechanical systems used in water and wastewater treatment plants. The role involves both fitting and welding activities as per design drawings and site requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform fitting and welding work on pipelines, tanks, supports, and equipment structures related to STP/WTP/ETP installations.
• Read and interpret fabrication and piping drawings accurately.
• Carry out welding (Arc/MIG/TIG) on MS, SS, and GI materials as required.
• Assist in assembling pumps, valves, and mechanical equipment at project sites.
• Conduct cutting, grinding, drilling, and alignment of pipes and frames.
• Ensure proper joint alignment and welding quality as per standards.
• Support in installation and commissioning activities at site.
• Maintain tools, welding machines, and ensure safety compliance at worksite.
• Coordinate with supervisors and engineers for daily work planning and updates.

Skills & Qualifications:

• ITI / Diploma in Fitter or Welding (Mechanical or related trade).
• Strong knowledge in MS/SS welding, pipe fitting, and fabrication.
• Ability to work from mechanical drawings and isometric diagrams.
• Experience in STP, WTP, or ETP projects preferred.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and use of PPE.
• Physically fit and willing to travel to project sites when required.

Working Conditions:

• Site-based role involving field work and installation activities.
• May require travel to various project locations as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
