As a Mechanical Fabricator, your primary responsibility will be to analyze blueprints to determine the specifications of mechanical components that need to be constructed. You will be tasked with constructing structural components from raw materials and using welding equipment to fuse them together. It will be essential for you to interpret and follow blueprints, drawings, and specifications accurately. In this role, you will measure, cut, and shape metal components to the required dimensions, as well as assemble and install structural frameworks and supports. Welding, bolting, and riveting tasks will also be part of your duties. You will need to inspect completed assemblies for accuracy and quality, ensuring that all components meet the necessary standards. Maintaining tools, equipment, and the work area in a safe condition will be crucial to your daily operations. Collaboration with engineers, welders, and other team members is essential for successful project completion. Adhering to safety protocols and industry regulations at all times is mandatory, and you must report any issues or defects to your supervisors promptly. Additionally, you will assist with the transportation and positioning of heavy materials as needed. Inspecting fabricated components for correct sizing, utilizing various cutting tools when necessary, and creating maintenance schedules are also part of the job requirements. Conducting diagnostic testing on malfunctioning systems and replacing damaged components will be essential tasks in this role. The ideal candidate for this position should have a Diploma (Preferred) and be fluent in Malayalam (Preferred). This is a full-time position that requires in-person work at the designated location.
