You will be responsible for studying reference drawings and quickly familiarizing yourself with the equipment. Your duties will include preparing and self-checking basic and detail drawings for equipment as guided by the reporting Supervisor/Engineer. You will also be tasked with developing sub-assembly and assembly drawings based on basic engineering drawings and related data or input from the supervisor. Additionally, you will prepare the Bill of Material (BOM) and check and modify drawings for manufacturing parameters as necessary. It will be your responsibility to prepare and self-check onboard equipment piping, secure approval from the checker, and submit the drawings to the supervisor/Engineer. To qualify for this position, you should have a Diploma, ITI, B.E. Mechanical, or equivalent degree with 3 to 5 years of experience. You must have working experience in equipment engineering for heavy machinery and a thorough hands-on experience with CREO and AutoCAD. Familiarity with various National & International Standards, welding and machining symbols, assembly processes, Fits/Tolerances, Geometric Tolerances, and Dimensioning is essential. In terms of behavioural skills, you should be able to communicate and report technical issues effectively to the reporting engineer/manager. Previous experience with Steel EPCs, heavy design engineering consultancies in cement/metal industries, exposure to Steel Plant/Nonferrous Making Equipment will be advantageous for this role.,
