You will be joining our luxury spa team as a professional and experienced Spa Therapist. Your role will involve performing a variety of spa treatments, such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, aromatherapy, facials, body scrubs, and wraps. It is essential to have a strong understanding of Western spa therapies and protocols to ensure high-quality treatments that meet client expectations and align with our spa's premium standards. Your excellent customer service skills will be crucial in greeting and consulting clients to identify their needs and recommend suitable treatments. Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in all spa areas and treatment rooms will be part of your responsibilities. You will also be required to prepare treatment rooms with necessary tools, products, and equipment, provide aftercare advice, and promote relevant spa products when appropriate. Creating a calm, welcoming, and professional atmosphere for all guests is essential, along with keeping accurate client records and updating treatment notes as needed. To qualify for this role, you must hold a diploma or certification in Spa Therapy or Massage Therapy from a recognized institute and have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a professional spa setting. Sound knowledge of Western spa treatments, anatomy/physiology, excellent communication, grooming, and presentation skills are required. You should also demonstrate the ability to handle clients with care, professionalism, and discretion, along with flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays. Preferred qualifications include additional skills in wellness therapies (e.g., reflexology, hot stone massage), basic retail skills to promote spa products and packages, CPR or first-aid certification, and knowledge of international spa standards. As a Houseparent for the Boys" Residence at Sancta Maria International School in Faridabad, your main goal is to provide a safe, nurturing, and structured living environment for the boys residing in the boarding facility. You will act as a mentor, caregiver, and role model, ensuring the well-being, emotional development, and academic support of the students in line with the school's values and expectations. Your responsibilities will include providing daily pastoral care, emotional support, and supervision to the boys, maintaining a safe and disciplined environment through consistent routines and positive reinforcement, and monitoring their health, hygiene, and general well-being. It will be essential to encourage a balanced lifestyle that includes academics, recreation, and rest. You will also serve as a trusted adult and mentor to the students, helping them navigate personal, social, and academic challenges, promoting respectful behavior, empathy, and conflict resolution, and addressing disciplinary matters promptly and in accordance with school policies. In terms of daily operations, you will oversee routines such as wake-up, meals, prep time, evening activities, and lights-out. You will be responsible for maintaining attendance records, student logs, and incident reports, conducting room inspections, and ensuring cleanliness and order in shared spaces. Collaboration with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure a safe and well-maintained living environment will also be part of your role. Effective communication with parents regarding student welfare and development is crucial, as is supporting new students during their transition into residential life and collaborating with academic staff to support student academic performance and discipline. In cases of emergencies, you will need to respond effectively, uphold and implement the school's safeguarding and child protection policies, and ensure the safety and well-being of the students. Organizing and supervising evening and weekend activities to foster a strong boarding house culture, celebrating student birthdays, festivals, and achievements to build a sense of home and community, and promoting values of independence, responsibility, and mutual respect are all key aspects of the role. To qualify for this position, you should have a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field, preferably with residential pastoral care or boarding experience. Child protection and safeguarding training is required, along with a minimum of 2 years of experience working with adolescents in a residential or educational setting. Experience in dealing with teenage boys, including behavioral management and mentoring, is highly beneficial. Skills and attributes that will be valuable in this role include a compassionate, patient, and firm leadership style, strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to set boundaries while building meaningful rapport with students, cultural sensitivity, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion. Additionally, high levels of responsibility, integrity, and discretion are essential. Desirable qualifications include experience in organizing recreational, wellness, or co-curricular activities, familiarity with international education systems and boarding school cultures, as well as first-aid certification and/or mental health first-aid training.
