• Operation: Safely and efficiently operate high-pressure boilers, including start-up and shut-down procedures.
• Monitoring: Continuously monitor gauges and control systems for parameters like pressure, water level, and fuel consumption.
• Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on boilers, associated equipment, and all related systems.
• Adjustments: Adjust valves and controls to maintain optimal performance and ensure proper water, fuel, and chemical levels.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and rectify issues to prevent downtime and ensure continuous operation.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of operational data, maintenance, and any incidents.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with safety, environmental, and company regulations.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs and servicing.

Required skills and qualifications

• Valid First Class Boiler Operator's license
• Knowledge of boiler operations, equipment maintenance, and repair
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
