Firmware Test Engineer - Embedded System

As a Firmware Test Engineer specializing in Python automation and embedded systems, you will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality firmware performance. Your primary responsibilities will include developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Python and PyTest, designing and executing test cases for embedded firmware and communication protocols, and collaborating closely with development and QA teams to identify and resolve issues. You will have the opportunity to work with RTOS-based systems such as Zephyr, utilize Jira and Confluence for test management and documentation, and contribute to the overall quality assurance process. With at least 6 years of experience in Python test automation for embedded firmware, you should possess a strong expertise in PyTest, RTOS (preferably Zephyr), and a solid understanding of embedded systems and communication protocols. Experience with Linux platforms is preferred, along with proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Git. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Agile development practices will be considered a significant advantage. Ideally, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field, with relevant certifications in testing or automation being a valuable addition to your profile.
