As the Lead Cloud Network Engineer at Assurant-GCC in India, you will report to the VP of Cloud Planning, Infrastructure, and Cloud Services (ICS). Your primary responsibility will be to lead the design and implementation of public cloud networking connectivity design and automation. Your extensive knowledge of various networking technologies, including SDN in public cloud, security, and automation, will be crucial for the successful delivery of the Enterprise Cloud as a service. You will be instrumental in implementing the design and build of public cloud connectivity from Assurant DCs and Internet, as well as customer locations for the Enterprise cloud Platform delivery. Additionally, you will oversee the design and delivery of all Network services within the public cloud and work on automation of these services in collaboration with automation and principal network Engineers. Your duties and responsibilities in this role will include designing, engineering, and building patterns and catalogs of Enterprise and Cloud Networking. This encompasses LAN, WAN, DNS, EVPN, VXLA, BGP-based DC Network designs with public cloud connectivity, maintaining Network engineering design, and providing network as a product and service. You will collaborate with the DevSecOps team to define requirements for catalog automation for network infrastructure and policy as code, ensuring alignment with enterprise security requirements. Furthermore, you will engage with stakeholders, actively performing research to stay updated on new public cloud network capabilities and their alignment with Assurant Enterprise Cloud strategy and opportunities. Your qualifications for this position include a minimum of 10 years of overall work experience, a Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science, and at least 7 years of experience in network infrastructure engineering in senior roles. You should have proven experience in design and build of cloud-related networking solutions, enterprise experience in design and delivery of network services as Infrastructure as a code, and experience in designing and building data center network solutions for large-scale modern data centers, public, and private clouds. Additionally, experience with Ansible, Python, Terraform, and working with cross-functional enterprise Centers of Excellence will be beneficial. The position will be primarily responsible for implementation and / or assessment of ISO 27001:2022, 27002, SOC 2 standard for clients. The position will work independently or with senior consultants for the implementation and management of information security compliance and/or other best practices. Key Performance Indicators Experience in ISO 27001/27002 controls verification and compliance: Assist Clients to get ISO 27001 certification by identification and implementation of appropriate controls in the Audit scope. Conduct Risk assessment of activities and coordinate with stakeholders till closure signoff / risk acceptance.
