As an Infoscion, your primary role within the Infosys consulting team will involve actively supporting the consulting team in various project phases. This includes tasks such as defining problems, estimating effort, diagnosing issues, generating solutions, designing solutions, and deploying them. You will be responsible for exploring alternative solutions by conducting research which may involve literature surveys, public domain information, vendor evaluations, etc. Additionally, you will be tasked with building Proof of Concepts (POCs). Your responsibilities will also include creating requirement specifications based on business needs, defining processes, and developing detailed functional designs. You will assist in configuring solution requirements, diagnosing issues, seeking clarifications, and identifying solution alternatives. Furthermore, you will be expected to contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives aimed at delivering high-quality, value-adding solutions to customers. In addition to the primary responsibilities, you should be capable of collaborating with clients to understand their business challenges and contribute to refining, analyzing, and structuring relevant data for client deliverables. You should have the capability to evaluate current processes, identify areas for improvement, and recommend technological solutions. Moreover, having knowledge in one or two industry domains would be advantageous. Preferred skills for this role include expertise in the Utilities domain with a focus on Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) and knowledge in various aspects of Energy Oil & Gas domains such as Midstream and its functional areas. Familiarity with technologies related to Energy Trading and Product Management would be beneficial for this role.,
