As the Director of Product for the AI Simulation Engine at Simploy, you will play a crucial role in expanding our product organization to develop a next-generation, AI-powered platform that offers interactive, role-based experiences at scale. You will be responsible for translating high-level vision into a concrete roadmap and executing a product-owning strategy, encompassing scoping, execution, and outcomes. Your primary responsibilities will include defining the product strategy, roadmap, and PRDs by converting business goals into clear problem statements, success metrics, and milestone releases. You will lead the definition of the MVP, control scope, plan sprints, manage risks, and ensure quality and measurement through defining acceptance criteria and core dashboards. Additionally, you will be involved in technical scoping, team build-out, stakeholder communications, and establishing security and compliance baselines. The ideal candidate for this role should possess 7-12 years of experience in product management or technical program management for SaaS/platform products and demonstrate strong technical literacy in APIs, cloud services, data modeling, and event analytics. Experience with integrating AI capabilities and modern product/engineering stacks is crucial, along with execution discipline, user empathy, systems thinking, and leadership skills. While not mandatory, a background in ed-tech, simulations, gaming, or workflow tools would be advantageous. Experience in setting up security, privacy, and compliance practices for new products is also a plus.
