Fire & Safety Officer - Hotels

Key Responsibilities

• Fire Safety Compliance: Ensure the hotel adheres to fire safety regulations like IS 13716 (1993).
• Emergency Planning: Develop and maintain a fire emergency plan, including evacuation procedures and fire drills.
• System Maintenance: Inspect and test fire alarms, sprinklers, extinguishers, and other safety equipment regularly.
• Training & Education: Conduct fire safety training for staff, including basic firefighting and first aid.
• Incident Response: Lead evacuation and firefighting efforts during emergencies; coordinate with local fire services.
• Reporting: Prepare reports on fire safety status and submit them to hotel management.

Hotel-Specific Duties

• Monitor guest areas to ensure fire exits are clear and accessible
• Limit occupancy to safe levels as per fire code
• Liaise with hotel departments to integrate fire safety into daily operations
• Be on-call for emergencies—even during off-duty hours

Education: High school diploma or technical degree; certification in Fire Safety Management is preferred.

Experience: Minimum 2 years in fire safety or emergency response, ideally in hospitality or large facilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹720,000.00 per year
