• ITI/Diploma in Draftsmanship / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 35 years experience in AutoCAD drafting for HVAC and piping works.
• Experience in large industrial/commercial projects preferred.
• The Design Engineer shall be responsible for the complete design scope related to the following services for industrial facilities:

a) HVAC Systems

• Design of ventilation, air-conditioning, and clean room HVAC systems.
• Calculation of cooling/heating load using international tools (e.g., HAP, Trace).
• Selection of equipment (AHUs, FCUs, chillers, exhaust fans, ducting layout).
• Designing as per ASHRAE, ISHRAE, SMACNA, and local codes.

b) Utility Piping Systems

• Design of compressed air, vacuum, chilled water, hot water, and steam lines.
• Sizing, layout planning, and P&ID preparation.
• Knowledge of ASME B31.3, B31.1, and other relevant piping codes.

c) Fire Fighting System

• Hydraulic calculation, pipe sizing, pump room layout, and sprinkler/hydrant design.
• Design in compliance with NFPA, NBC, and TAC norms.

d) Domestic Water Supply & Drainage

• Design of internal and external plumbing systems for industrial facilities.
• Water tank sizing, pump selection, drainage slope, and routing.
• Compliance with UPC/IPC and CPHEEO Manual.

e) Process Piping

• Support process team for specialized utility and chemical piping layouts.
• Material selection, pressure drop calculations, and corrosion allowance.
• Understanding of chemical compatibility, pipe class, and valves/instruments selection.

f) Design Coordination

• Cross-functional coordination with structural, architectural, and process teams.
• Integration of MEP services in plant layouts.
• Participation in design reviews, model walk-throughs, and clash resolutions.
• Prepare Design Basis Report for above package
• Knowledge about 3D BIM

• PipeNet / DuctSizer / Elite / HAP
• E3D / PDMS / Plant 3D (optional but preferred)

• Conceptual and detailed design drawings.

• Project-specific technical specifications.
• Construction and as-built documentation support
