A. Educational Qualification: B.E. Mechanical B. Experience: 1. 5-8 years of experience. 2. Experience in Hotels / Hospitals / Office Buildings / IT fit-outs/ Apartments/ Industries/ Residential/ Commercial buildings. C. Knowledge: 1. Good exposure to Internal and External Water-Based Hydrant Systems, Pump Systems, Sprinkler Systems, Smoke Detection, Fire Alarm System, Gas-Based Suppression Systems, and Voice Evacuation PA System 2. Knowledge about system design as per NBC, NFPA, FM (Factory Mutual), and UL guidelines. D. Software Knowledge: Mandatory: CAD*, Proficiency in MS Office. E. Functional Skills Requirements: 1. Design Proficiency Wet riser/downcomer/yard hydrant systems, automatic sprinkler systems, travel distance check layouts, load estimation preparation, design basis report, space planning, and pipe sizing design 2. Drawing Proficiency 2D fire safety system drawings, schematic and single line drawings, precise sections and elevations as needed, puddle flange sizing, OHT requirements, and water sump 3. Creating documentation for technical requirements, budgetary estimates, quantity take-off sheets, bill of quantities, material take-off sheets, and supporting papers 4. Project Management Answering RFIs, Material, Quality Reports, and obtaining clearances 5. In charge of overseeing the project from its conception to its implementation and site completion. 6. Monitoring the progress of site at work and reporting the same to management and client as required. F. Other Requirements: 1.
