As a Fire Alarm System Technician at our reputed company in Qatar, you will be responsible for the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of various fire alarm systems. Your key responsibilities will include installing, testing, and commissioning addressable & conventional fire alarm systems, troubleshooting and repairing faults in systems and control panels, conducting preventive and corrective maintenance, reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications, coordinating with engineers and technicians, ensuring compliance with Qatar Civil Defence regulations, documenting inspections and maintenance work, performing system programming and configuration, and providing support during emergency breakdowns or false alarms. To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 2-4 years of experience in Fire Alarm Systems, along with an ITI/Diploma in Electrical/Electronics or a related field. Strong knowledge of fire alarm control panels such as Honeywell, Siemens, Notifier, familiarity with QCD guidelines and inspection procedures, good communication and problem-solving skills, and valid Qatar or GCC experience are preferred. Candidates with QID or NOC will have an advantage if locally available. In return, we offer a salary of 2000 QAR, with food, accommodation, and transportation provided by the company. Role & responsibilities Coordination with all departments like Production, Inventory Management Product Design & R&D and Quality Control. The technical abilities you require to use AutoCAD to create 2D and 3D designs. Planning the Design & Programming controls as per the priority CAD engineers typically create detailed computer models or drawings of physical components, with Advanced math and computer skills Monitoring the Orders movement in Design department to ensure hassle free operations Monitoring the Product drawings Designing status and generation of raw material inventory reports Evaluating the production control activities to ensure that final product meets the customer specifications Work with the Operations team to ensure material management, production scheduling, shipping/receiving, and logistics at all points of the process. Supports and assists with the Safety Program. Preferred candidate profile A Mechanical / Industrial Engineering /Production Engineering Degree with minimum 2 - 5 years of experience in Manufacturing Process of Steel Doors/Fire Doors/Hallow Metal Doors with Familiar with AutoCAD software. Use computer-aided design (Auto-CAD) software to create Shop-drawings and Development drawings for production. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Expertise in time management and the ability to meet deadlines. Ability to understand technical drawings and plans. AutoCAD designers need to earn a high school diploma or equivalent Advanced math and computer skills & Creativity and artistic ability.
