You will be working offshore as part of an onsite delivery model, focusing on supporting the integration and analysis of spatial datasets through your expertise in Python, PySpark, and geospatial data processing. Your role will involve developing and maintaining scalable ETL pipelines, working with large geospatial datasets from various sources, integrating geospatial data with enterprise systems, and optimizing queries and data transformations for performance and accuracy. Additionally, you will collaborate with data scientists, GIS analysts, and business users to deliver data solutions, troubleshoot data issues, and support production data workflows. Your strong hands-on experience with PySpark, advanced Python programming skills, and familiarity with geospatial libraries such as GeoPandas, Shapely, Fiona, Rasterio, or GDAL will be crucial for this role. You should also have knowledge of spatial databases like PostGIS or GeoServer, experience with data lakes, big data processing, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP preferred), and a solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and spatial indexing. It would be beneficial to have familiarity with MapReduce, Hive, or Databricks, prior experience in geospatial analytics, remote sensing, or urban planning domains, and knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes). Strong soft skills such as excellent communication and collaboration abilities, a problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a client-facing onsite role will also be essential for success in this position.,
