Role & responsibilities Responsibilities Set up and operate Vertical Machining Centers (VMC). Develop and optimize CNC programs for VMC machines. Interpret and follow engineering blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Monitor machine operations to ensure precision and consistency. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of VMC equipment. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes. Ensure all machined parts meet quality standards and specifications. Document setup and operational procedures for VMC machines. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred. Extensive experience in operating and programming VMC machines. Proficiency in CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code). Strong understanding of machining techniques and processes. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints. Attention to detail and commitment to quality. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities.
