Financial Research & Mutual Fund Analysis

As a part of the Investment Research team at our company based in Gurgaon, you will play a vital role in analyzing financial markets, conducting equity research, and evaluating mutual fund portfolios. Your main responsibilities will include: - Analyzing company financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flows. - Conducting equity research, industry analysis, and comparative benchmarking. - Preparing detailed research reports, investment notes, and financial insights for both internal and client use. - Interpreting and evaluating mutual fund portfolios, performance metrics, NAV trends, asset allocation, and risk indicators. - Assisting in building financial models, forecasting sheets, and valuation templates. - Tracking market movements, economic indicators, RBI/SEBI updates, and global market trends. - Supporting senior analysts in portfolio strategy, risk assessment, and product research. - Working on data analytics, dashboards, and research presentations. Qualifications required for this role: - Mandatory clearance of CFA Level 1 or Level 2. - Strong understanding of financial statement analysis, valuation techniques, and portfolio management concepts. - Knowledge of mutual funds, asset classes, risk-return metrics, Sharpe ratio, beta, alpha, etc. - Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling basics, and data analytics tools. - Excellent quantitative skills with attention to detail. - Good report-writing and communication abilities. - Passion for capital markets, mutual funds, and long-term investment strategy. Preferred skills that would be beneficial: - Experience with Bloomberg, Screener, or CapitalIQ (not mandatory). - Understanding of Derivatives, Fixed Income, and Alternative Investments.
