Job Description

**Role Overview:** You will be responsible for supporting Reporting for NAM (North America), AAL (American Air Liquide), and AHI (American Air Liquide Inc) with statutory and target reporting, including preparation of Board Schedules and Audited Financial Statements. Your role will involve preparing semi-annual finance schedules for the American Air Liquide Holdings board meeting, assisting with the semi-annual Account and Controls Committee presentation, and analyzing Long Term Incentive Plan. You will also work closely with the Business Service Center in Argentina for various financial tasks, validate quarterly standalone financials for Treasury, and assist annually with the preparation of footnotes for the audited North American IFRS financial statements. Additionally, you will research new accounting standards, coordinate with external auditors, develop answers to complex questions on figures, maintain desk procedures documentation, and assist/drive accounting department projects as needed. **Key Responsibilities:** - Prepare semi-annual finance schedules for the American Air Liquide Holdings board meeting - Assist with the semi-annual Account and Controls Committee presentation - Prepare analysis of Long Term Incentive Plan - Work closely with the Business Service Center in Argentina for various financial tasks - Validate quarterly standalone financials for Treasury - Assist annually with the preparation of footnotes for the audited North American IFRS financial statements - Research new accounting standards and assist with implementation - Coordinate with external auditors on tie out/audit of footnotes - Develop answers to complex questions on figures to be reported - Maintain desk procedures documentation - Assist/drive accounting department projects as needed **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's Degree (or in progress) in Accounting, Finance, or Management and/or equivalent experience in Accounting related processes - 5+ years experience in a Finance/Accounting role; Master's Degree plus 2+ years Finance/Accounting experience will be considered - CPA or CPA candidate - Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills - Ability to multitask and adapt to changing environments - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement, must be a self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Must possess the energy and drive to execute under pressure and meet tight deadlines - Proven ability to work both independently and jointly with varying levels of employees - Proficient with Microsoft and Google tools Please note, this job may involve overtime during critical periods and international travel up to two times per year. English fluency [C1/B2] and Spanish fluency are required, and French and/or Portuguese are a plus. Public Accounting work experience and proficiency in Oracle are preferred qualifications.,
