Financial Consulting Manager - Strategic Finance and FP&A

We are looking for skilled Financial Strategists to join our Finance Strategy and FP&A Team at RSM USI. As a Financial Strategist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team by assisting in various financial planning processes such as budgeting, forecasting, cost optimization, financing, and variance analysis. The ideal candidate for this position should have a strong technical background with expertise in Power BI, Power BI Service, and Alteryx. You will be responsible for gathering business requirements and translating them into effective data transformation and visualization solutions. Moreover, you will be expected to lead and mentor a small team, driving continuous improvement in methodologies and best practices within the field of Strategic Finance and FP&A. Key Responsibilities: - Lead financial and business planning projects, pricing, feasibility studies, cost modeling, and working capital analysis - Gather client requirements and create data pipelines and workflows in Alteryx to support customized reporting needs - Design, develop, and deploy dashboards using Power BI Desktop and Service with advanced DAX formulas - Identify opportunities for data process improvements and automation Experience: - Masters degree or equivalent in Finance, Business, Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics (e.g., MBA/PGDBM/CFA/CA) - Financial Modelling Manager with 8-10 years of experience in leading teams in financial modeling, data transformation, and visualization projects Technical/Soft Skills: - Financial Modelling - Strong accounting and financing background - Power BI Desktop and Service (advanced usage of DAX) - Alteryx Designer (usage of macros, creating apps, building workflows) - Experience with SQL preferred but not required - Knowledge of Advanced MS Excel, Power Query, and Macros - Willingness to learn new technologies on the job RSM offers a competitive benefits and compensation package to all employees.
