Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Assistant to join our dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting financial operations, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and assisting with various administrative tasks. This position is ideal for someone who is organised, has a keen eye for detail, and is eager to develop their skills within the finance sector.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Process and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Conduct reconciliations of bank statements and other financial accounts to ensure consistency.
  • Assist with budget preparation and monitor expenditure against budgets.
  • Respond to internal and external enquiries regarding financial matters in a professional manner.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance efficiency within the finance function.

Experience & Skills

  • 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably in the retail or food & beverage sector.
  • Proficient in Xero (preferred) or similar accounting software.
  • Familiarity with Shopify, Square, or other POS/eCommerce tools.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with multi-location or multi-channel businesses is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.

Work Schedule

Monday to Friday 08:00 AM to 17:00 PM GMT (13:30 to 22:30 IST)

Pay & Benefits

Yearly: INR 1013 LPA
