Job Summary: The Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day accounting activities, preparation of financial statements, GST and TDS compliance, and assisting in statutory and tax audits. The candidate should have strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, Tally or accounting software, and a basic understanding of taxation. Key Responsibilities:1. Accounting & Bookkeeping Maintain books of accounts in Tally / Zoho / QuickBooks / Busy, etc. Handle journal entries, bank reconciliations, ledgers, and trial balance Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Maintain fixed asset register and depreciation calculations 2. GST Compliance Prepare and file GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc. Reconcile GSTR-2A/2B with purchase register Respond to GST notices (under guidance) Assist in GST audits and assessments 3. TDS / Income Tax Prepare and file TDS returns (24Q, 26Q, etc.) TDS computation and reconciliation Generate Form 16, 16A Support in advance tax and income tax return filing 4. Audit Support Assist in statutory audit, tax audit, GST audit Prepare audit schedules and documentation Coordinate with clients for data and clarifications 5. Client Coordination Communicate with clients for required data and compliance deadlines Follow-up for pending tasks, clarifications, and document submissions 6. MIS and Reporting Prepare MIS reports as required by clients or management Track payable/receivable reports and aging analysis Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month Schedule: Day shift Work Location: In person
