Finance Lead- Indirect Tax

You will be responsible for leading and managing the GST and Indirect Taxation functions to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This includes overseeing GST returns, filings, and reconciliation, as well as ensuring timely and accurate reporting. You will manage tax audits, assessments, and disputes to ensure a smooth and compliant process. Additionally, providing strategic guidance on indirect taxation matters for the company's business operations will be a key aspect of your role. You are expected to monitor changes in tax laws and proactively adjust business practices for compliance. Collaboration with internal teams to optimize tax strategies and minimize financial risk is essential. Working closely with the finance team to ensure correct accounting of indirect taxes and supporting the preparation of tax-related financial statements and reports are also part of your responsibilities. To qualify for this role, you must have a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification and at least 12 years of experience in finance, with a focus on indirect taxation and GST. A strong knowledge of Indian tax laws, especially GST, customs, and excise, is required. Experience with tax audits, assessments, and resolving disputes is necessary. Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills are essential for this position. You should also have the ability to work independently and lead a team effectively.,
