Finance Associate - Controller Support

As a Finance Associate: Controller Support, you will play a critical role in supporting the overall Financial Controller function within our Finance team. Your responsibilities will include: - Taking ownership of the month-end and year-end closing processes, which involves preparing journal entries, scrutinizing the general ledger, and making necessary accruals and provisions. - Ensuring strict adherence to Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and other relevant regulatory guidelines in all accounting and financial reporting. - Preparing and maintaining detailed reconciliations of major balance sheet accounts, promptly investigating and resolving any outstanding items. - Assisting the Controller in preparing statutory financial statements and consolidated accounts. - Supporting the external audit process by preparing comprehensive schedules, providing necessary documentation, and addressing auditor queries related to financial data and disclosures. - Coordinating with the internal control team to maintain accurate documentation and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all accounting activities. - Ensuring timely compliance with all direct and indirect tax regulations (GST, TDS) and other statutory filings. Qualifications Required: - Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory. - Minimum 1 to 2 years of post-qualification experience in statutory audit, core accounting, or financial reporting, preferably within a technology or high-growth company. - In-depth technical knowledge and practical experience in applying Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) is essential. - Strong command over bookkeeping, general ledger maintenance, and the month-end closing cycle. - Proficiency in MS Office/Google Sheets with experience working with accounting software. - Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet strict reporting deadlines.,
